Euthanasia in New Hampshire
New Hampshire had worked on bill to legalize assisted
suicide September of 2009 that was rejected in November of 2009. The bill had
lost a significant amount of backing and was voted against 14-3 in the House of
Judiciary Committee. But what was on the bill was that it would let terminally
ill patients over the age of 18 obtain lethal prescriptions, with safeguards to
prevent abuses.
