In Georgia, the governor Nathan Deal has recently signed the
Right to Life law making assisted suicide illegal. Georgia’s Right to Life’s
president Dan Becker said, “Stopping the immoral and barbaric practice of
killing in the name of compassion is the right thing to do.” The old law of
Georgia was that assisted suicide was not to be advertised, but there was
nothing that said it couldn’t be done.
